Q. Are your cats registered?
A. Yes. All of our breeders are registered with TICA and some of them are also registered with CFA and/or CFF.
Q. Do you have your breeders tested for PKD?
A. Yes. All our breeders have been DNA tested for PKD and they have all tested negative, which guarantees you that your kitten will also be negative!
Q. What's the difference between a Standard Munchkin/Napoleon and a Nonstandard Munchkin/Napoleon?
A. Only their leg length - Everything else is the same! This picture is a good example of the difference.
Q. We would like to purchase one of your kittens (or two....or three....). What do we do next?
A. You can reserve
the Napoleon kitten, Munchkin kitten, Himalayan kitten, or Persian
Kitten of your choice with a 50% nonrefundable deposit.
Q. When our kitten is old enough, can we breed him/her?
A. No. Our kittens are sold on a Pet Only Basis and cannot be bred. On very rare occasions we will sell a kitten with breeding rights for an
additional fee, but unless you have registration papers that state you're allowed to breed, you cannot breed our kittens.
Q. What methods can we use to place a deposit? We live in ------and it will take several days for our deposit to reach you if we mail it.
A. We accept PayPal, money orders, cash or check for the deposit. We only accept cash or PayPal for the final payment. If you pay by PayPal, they charge a 3.5% fee which you are also responsible for. We will NEVER ask you to make a direct deposit in any bank account for us, nor will we ever solicit money from you for ANY REASON except your deposit and final payment.
There are some very unscrupulous people on the Internet that prey on websites such as ours, hacking into our Emails and requesting money from our customers. If you receive any such request, PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY.
If you're mailing your deposit, we put your kitten on "Reserved Pending Receipt of Deposit" status, and we allow five days to receive the deposit. If we have not received it or heard from you within five days, the kitten is placed back on the website as "Available."
Q. We are hesitant about choosing a kitten without seeing it and interacting with it. Can we visit your cattery and see your kittens?
A. You're welcome to visit and see the kittens both before and after you choose one to purchase. Just call and set up an appointment.
We don't allow children under the age of 12 to visit with the kittens before they're 6 weeks of age. We have found that younger children can upset the mothers and make them nervous. Also small children don't realize when they're holding a kitten too tightly or how easily they can squirm out of your hands.
Q. Once we have purchased a kitten from you, can we come visit with it while waiting to take it home?
A. You're welcome to visit with your kitten whenever you're able to. We also provide updates on his/her growth and development, along with weekly updated pictures as he/she grows.
Q. Do you ship your kittens?
A. Yes, we do. Unfortunately, the cost of shipping has gone up this year drastically, and so we've had to go up on our prices. We don't make anything for our time or gas when we ship a kitten, even tho it involves a trip to the vet in order to obtain a health certificate and a trip to the New Orleans airport, which is 60 miles from our home, but we have to be able to cover our costs, and the last kittens we shipped we actually lost money (not realizing the price increases that had occurred).
We prefer shipping thru Continental because they take such good care of our babies.
Your kitten will come to you in a new carrier purchased just for him/her along with a blanket that has his mom's odor on it and an informational letter that hopefully will answer any questions you might have about caring for your new family member. and proof of the vaccines he has received before he leaves our home.

Q. Do you offer any health guarantee?
A. Yes. If your kitten is diagnosed within the first year with any congenital or genetic life threatening or value of life threatening disorder, we will replace your kitten or refund your money.
Because we have no control over the environment our kittens go to when they leave our home, we can't guarantee against allergies, parasites, etc. that a kitten can pick up.
We never allow our adults or kittens to play outside - there are so many dangers lurking even in innocent looking grass. One flea eaten by your kitten can cause a tape worm.
Q. Are your kittens given their baby shots and rabies vaccination before we take them home?
A. All our kittens are given their first baby shot by us before they leave. They can't receive their rabies vaccination until they're 16 weeks old, so we recommend that they be given their second baby shot at the same time as their rabies.
Q. We want a male. Can you guarantee us our kitten is a male if we put a deposit on him when he's first born?
A. Unfortunately, no. Kittens when first born are so tiny, it's very rare that we can be sure of the sex before they're around 4 to 6 weeks old. We tell our prospective buyers if you're definitely wanting a particular sex, please wait until we can tell you positively what sex the kitten is. Only when we're sure will we guarantee the sex.
Q. What characteristics can you be sure of?
A. When first born, not a whole lot. Kittens, like all babies, change so much in the first few weeks of their life. Most of the time, we can be sure of the color, but even that has surprised us at times.
If both parents have the same color eyes, we can be fairly sure of the color of their eyes.
If both parents have long hair, we can be sure the kittens will have long hair.
We can immediately tell if they are Standard or Nonstandard Munchkins or Napoleons.
Otherwise, we can make educated guesses.

A. You
can reserve the Napoleon kitten, Munchkin kitten, Himalayan kitten, or

only, is due prior to your kitten being picked up or shipped. Payment

When
they're old enough to go to their new home, Kittens will be UTD on
shots, totally litter trained, and unbelievably socialized - We spoil
them rotten!
